The araservice.dll file included in the aforementioned release is unfortunately faulty, and the ARA service doesn’t work at all.
It’s actually the only bug I found in this release, other than that it has worked flawlessly for me.
But if you use e.g. Melodyne in Cubase, having the ARA service working is a big plus, so since I found a version of araservice.dll that works with this release of Cubase 10.5 Pro I thought I’d share it here so you might enjoy it too.
It should also work with any other release of Cubase Pro 10.5, but I can’t guarantee it.
To install, just replace the araservice.dll file in your “C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 10.5\Components” folder with this one and you’re all set.
